Commercial Appliance Repair
Commercial equipment does not fail like a home appliance. It runs many times the duty cycle, it usually has no backup, and when it stops it takes revenue with it.
We service commercial kitchen and laundry equipment across the same Chicagoland area we cover for homes — restaurants and cafés, multi-housing laundry and laundromats, bars, offices, schools and facilities.
What we cover, by the kind of business you run
Restaurants and cafés
The kitchen stops when one unit does. Refrigeration holding temperature, an ice machine during a heatwave, a vent hood that will not clear smoke — each of these can end service for the night rather than inconvenience it.
Multi-housing and laundromats
Coin and card-operated laundry earns money by the cycle, so a machine out of service is lost revenue every hour, not just an inconvenience. Duty cycles here are many times a domestic machine, which means bearings, seals and belts wear on a schedule rather than at random.
Bars and beverage service
Ice production and wine storage are the two that generate calls. Both are sensitive to the same local problem — Chicago-area water hardness scales any unit that makes ice or heats water faster than the manual assumes.
Offices, schools and facilities
Break-room and canteen equipment rarely has a backup, and nobody notices it until it fails. These are usually lower-urgency calls that we can schedule around your hours rather than interrupt them.
By business type, in depth
Two sectors have enough of their own equipment and their own failure pattern to warrant a dedicated page:

What makes a commercial call different
Tell us what the failure is costing
This is the single most useful thing you can say when booking. A walk-in holding product, an ice machine mid-service and a break-room microwave are three different levels of urgency, and we cannot infer which yours is from the equipment type alone.
Access and timing are part of the job
Commercial units are often built into a line, stacked, or behind other equipment. Tell us what it takes to reach yours and what hours you can give us — a repair scheduled around your service is usually faster overall than one that has to stop and wait.
Wear here is predictable, so it can be planned
Bearings, seals, belts and scale build up on a schedule when a machine runs 12–16 hours a day. That means the expensive failures are often the ones nobody scheduled around. If you run several units, planned replacement is cheaper than emergency downtime.

Commercial repair — frequently asked questions
Do you service commercial equipment as well as home appliances?
Yes. We cover commercial kitchen and laundry equipment across the same Chicagoland service area — refrigeration, ice machines, dishwashers, cooking, ventilation and laundry. The equipment is different in duty cycle and installation, and the diagnosis reflects that.
How is a commercial call prioritised differently?
A home appliance failure is an inconvenience; a commercial failure usually stops revenue or risks a health-inspection problem. When you book, tell us whether the unit is holding food, making ice for service, or earning per cycle — that changes how we schedule it.
What should I have ready when I call?
The model and serial number, what the unit was doing when it failed, and your service hours. On refrigeration, the current temperature reading matters — a unit drifting slowly is a different job from one that has stopped entirely.
Is the warranty the same as on residential work?
Yes — a full 1-year warranty on replacement parts and a 90-day labor warranty on the repair, with a clear estimate before any work begins.
