Damp plastics at the end of a cycle is the design, not a defect
Condensation drying leaves plastics wetter than glass or ceramic because plastic holds less residual heat. If your dishwasher has always done this, it is working as built. If drying got noticeably worse, that is worth a look — usually the rinse aid dispenser or a door seal.
A dishwasher that will not drain often has a cause outside the machine
A blocked air gap, a kinked hose, or a newly installed garbage disposal that still has its knockout plug in place will each stop a healthy dishwasher. Checking these first is free. See garbage disposal repair.
The series number changes the diagnosis
A 100 series and a Benchmark share a name and very little else in drying, insulation and controls. Have the full model number ready — 'a Bosch dishwasher' is not enough to work from.

Bosch repair — frequently asked questions
Why are my dishes wet in a Bosch dishwasher?
Condensation drying leaves more moisture than heated drying, especially on plastics. It is normal behaviour for the design. A change for the worse is a different matter and worth checking.
Do you service Bosch compact 24-inch laundry?
Yes. It is common in Chicago condos and coach houses, and the stacked installation is the main complication for access.
What do I need before calling?
The full model number from the door edge or door jamb, the symptom, and roughly when it started. Bosch series differ enough that the model number genuinely changes the answer.
