Check the water supply line
A kinked, frozen, or shut-off water line is the most common cause of no ice. Make sure the saddle valve is open and the line is not pinched behind the fridge.
Inspect the water filter
A clogged filter restricts flow, producing small or hollow cubes. Replace filters every six months.
Look at the shut-off arm
Many ice makers have a wire or paddle arm that stops production when the bin is full. If it is stuck up, no ice is made.
Test the inlet valve
A failed water inlet valve stops water reaching the ice maker. This electrical part is a technician repair.
