Asko Appliance Repair
Asko is Scandinavian, and the engineering choices show it: stainless steel where other brands use plastic, and laundry rated for cycle counts well beyond the domestic norm.
The dishwashers are the best-known part of the line in North America — full stainless interiors, tall-tub capacity, and quiet operation achieved through mass rather than through a plastic tub.
That construction changes what fails. Asko service calls skew towards pumps, seals and electronics rather than towards the cracked plastic and warped racks that end other machines.
The Asko line we service
Dishwashers
Full stainless interiors and XXL capacity models. Drainage faults, door seal wear and circulation pump failures are the routine work.
dishwasher repair ›Washing machines
Logic and Professional series. Drain pump blockages, door lock faults and bearing noise on higher-mileage machines.
washer repair ›Dryers
Including heat-pump models, which run longer and cooler by design — a longer cycle is not itself a fault.
dryer repair ›Cooktops
Gas and induction. On induction, cooling and pan detection rather than the element itself.

What Asko owners should know
Diagnosis of circulation motors, spray arms, filters, and wash assemblies to restore proper cleaning action.
A stainless tub changes the economics of repair
Machines with plastic tubs eventually reach a point where the tub itself is the failure and repair stops making sense. Asko's stainless construction does not degrade that way, so a ten-year-old machine with a failed pump is usually worth fixing rather than replacing.
Heat-pump dryers are meant to run long
A cycle noticeably longer than a vented dryer's is the design, not a defect. What deserves attention is a cycle that has been getting steadily longer over months — that points at filters or the heat exchanger needing cleaning.
Parts come from Europe, so lead time is part of the quote
The North American installed base is modest and components are ordered rather than stocked. We tell you the expected wait before you agree to the repair, not after the part is on order.
Deciding whether an Asko unit is still worth fixing? Our repair-or-replace guide names the one repair that ends each appliance — and on a built-in that line sits much further out.

Asko repair — frequently asked questions
Is a ten-year-old Asko worth repairing?
Usually yes. The stainless construction does not degrade the way plastic-tub machines do, so age alone is a weaker argument for replacement than on most brands.
How long do Asko parts take?
Longer than the volume brands — the installed base here is small and components come from Europe. We give you the expected wait up front.
My Asko dryer takes a long time.
If it is a heat-pump model, longer cycles are normal. A cycle that keeps getting longer month by month is the signal worth acting on.
